Researcher, was awarded Ph.D. by conducting research on Indian medicinal plants, conducted further research in the Universities of Bath, Nottingham (UK) and Helsinki (Finland), published five books and about 100 research papers/articles on Indian Medicinal Plants. Worked in Indian Council of Medical Research, Central Concil for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha and Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. Now retired.
